Saint Brandon has been named Cargados Carajos by the first seamen who discovered this still sanctuary where nature has all her rights. We made a stopover in this lost paradise during 20 days studying coral reefs with Francesca Benzoni's dream team ! An unforgetable leg where we met shared tim with 30 nice fishermen from Maurice island who are there during 6 months to fish for a company called Raphael Fishing - The make salty dry fish which is a must to eat in Maurice Island ! Armand Chevreau was the administrator of St Brandon and our guide to those shallow waters. He also manage the fishermen and all the logistic they need. The fishermen only catch fish with a hook. One fish at the time. A way to keep species reproducing without any gtrouble. St Brandon's waters are full of life and the coral was declare in very good shape by the scientists after the leg.
