TARA, THE RESEARCH SCHOONER IS SAILING AROUND THE GLOBE IN ORDER TO SAMPLE CORAL AND PLANKTON WITH SCIENTISTS AND LABS FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD - FROM 2009 TO 2012. The streets of Mumbai are full of kids trying to sell anything or begging at the windows of taxis. This little girl is selling some "lily of the valley" flowers. It was a good smell in Tara's kitchen :)
TARA, THE RESEARCH SCHOONER IS SAILING AROUND THE GLOBE IN ORDER TO SAMPLE CORAL AND PLANKTON WITH SCIENTISTS AND LABS FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD - FROM 2009 TO 2012. Just outside Mumbai downtown, there is a small fishermen village. It's a surprising pretty quiet place in this urban jungle which is Mumbai ! We've been there with Benjamin Flao, artist aboard Tara for the leg Mumbai > Male (Maldives). The people were really welcoming, especially kids who not have the habit to see strangers in their streets.
