22 june 2014 - Hokulea, the traditionnal sailing canoe from Hawaï is arriving in Tahiti. The very first voyage of Hokulea to Tahiiti was in 1976 with an Hawaïan crew, it was a very strong spiritual event for tahitians. The goal of those voyages is to connect the Maori people of the Pacific and use the ancient technics of sailing, as the ancestors did it thousands of year before. Hokulea is now starting a round the world and Tahiti is the first stop over.
